CARE 60 - Information and Expectations

Welcome to Care 60

In this course, you are expected to perform a series of tasks in and outside of the school to expand your experience as business professionals. You can learn more in the course outline:

Throughout the semester, you will perform a variety of business related activities to help gain experience and build your professional portfolio. Unless otherwise stated, you must submit the Activity Record Form for each activity.

Lastly, here are some important dates. We do not meet every week for this class, but you must attend the classes listed below and make all meetings. Failure to do so will result in not passing the class.

Workshop on the August 10th - Update

Hello everyone,

The August 10th workshop is a closed workshop for CC students and has limited spots for Care 60 students. Because of this, all of you who have emailed me about joining are NOT on the list yet. Next week, I will send a SIGN UP EMAIL and only a few spots will be available. It will be first come, first serve. You must reply to my email to reserve a spot. Once all the spots have been taken, everyone else will be put on a waiting list. On August 10th, I will only let students who are on the waiting list in at 12:10 if there are spots available. Depending on how many CC students come, there could be zero to many spots open.

To recap:

1. You cannot reserve a spot for the August 10th workshop yet. 
2. Next Thursday, I will email everyone a SIGN UP EMAIL
3. You must reply to that email to ask for a spot. If you do not reply to that email, you will not be added to the list!
4. All spots will be given out on a First-come, First-serve basis
5. If you do not get a spot, you will be put on the waiting list.
6. Waiting list students will not be allowed to enter the workshop until 12:10 and ONLY if there is space available. 

Semester Ends on August 24th

Please remember that you must have at least 30 points completed and all activity record forms turned in by the 24th.

We have classes on the 15th and the 17th. Please try to have everything completed by then.
